Maybe you have run into the following problem: You want to edit the profile schema in Commerce Server Manager and you get the following error:
{<1>}
The first thing you ask yourself: The webpage cannot be found? Which webpage? I didn't know there was a webpage!
Well, there is. When Commerce Server is installed, the installer creates a virtual folder named Widgets in the default website. This folder points to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Enterprise Servers\Commerce Server\Widgets and contains a number of .htc files.
These .htc files are widgets written in VBScript and the user profile is dependent on these files.
So what about the error: what probably happened is that you stopped or even deleted the default site. Just turn it on, or recreate it and the user profile editor should work again.
